final...prefinal

Doing up the apartment will never be completed. Theres alway a trillion things that needed to be done. I am doing up the apartment as i consider it as a place that i would like to stay or spend time with my family or just doing my writing work alone there. Therefore, it should be homey and cozy as i would like it to be. A personal touch is the best touch.

Monday 28th the handyman will help me a few things- putting up pictures, installing a few more plug points, install blinds to kitchen window, etc. The aircond man will also install the newly acquired aircond units for the living area and the master bedroom. The last thing would be the internet. Probably will do that wed morning.

We hope to start with our first guest on January 4th 2010, insyaAllah. We try to live up to our motto 'Home Away from Home'.

Engaging agent

I am engaging an agent, Henry, to help me market my homestay. He is managing many units in my aptment complex so he is engaged to help me run my homestay. I have given him the keys to show potential clients the unit. This Christmas, am spending some time sprucing up the apartment for a final time before accepting gueests. Will post pics of finished spruced up apt soon.

final touch ups

Today is the New Muslim year - Maal Hijrah. May you be provided with lots of blessing in health, 'rezeki' and happiness. This morning i am going to shop around for furnishings to add to the final touches to the apartment. Hopefully by today i can complete the final cleaning and final touch ups.

The apartment has three bedrooms: two rooms have queen beds and the third room has a single bed. For a group which has more than five people, the living room can be turned into a sleeping area with sleeping bags or totto.

Ilman-Homestay Details

  • Our apartment has THREE (3) bedrooms with 2 bath and full condo facilities. It is located in Section 13, Shah Alam Selangor. Its a fully furnished apartment with full kitchen facilites including self-catering facilities such as microwave, stove, and crockery (dinnerware and cooking ware), TV with satellite cable, free broadband. Washing machine for self laundry. Finishings in apartment is modern yet simple to cater to discerning guests. Can fit in easily SIX (6) persons. You can bring sleeping bags if your group is more than six persons. Maximum 12 persons per stay. We provide towels, just like a hotel facility.We DO NOT rent out rooms, we rent out the whole 3-room apartment unit.

Facilities include: 24 hours security, smart card, covered parking, swimming pool, games room, gymnasium, sauna, common library, spacious musallah/surau, playground, and walking track. Nice night view of Shah Alam city. 10th floor unit.

Conveniences - next door to TESCO Extra, Giant hypermarket (where there are lots of food outlets,post office) and opposite to Stadium Melawati. Within vicinity are private universities like PTPL, MSU, Polytechnic, and the public funded Univ. ITeknologi Mara. Located a block away from Federal Highway, the NKVE highway and a mere 15 minutes drive to shopping like Subang Parade Shopping Complex. Easily accessible to Klang, Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur.
