Oct and Dec 2010- busy month

Interestingly enough, Oct and Dec were two busy months for us; in Oct 491 visitors visited our webpage and in Dec 2010 it peaked to 540. In terms of actual guests, we were about 90% fully booked in Nov and Dec 2010. Looking forward to a good 2011.

Busy Nov-Dec 2010 / Bulan Nov-Dis 2010 yang sibuk

We have been inundated by bookings this period esp for certain weekends where there events happening around Shah Alam. Our calendar has been filled to the brim this year. Apparently, UITM is having their convocation this month.

We still have the following dates vacant in Dec - 25, 26, 27, 28,29th free. Do book earlier if you are in town for Christmas holidays.

Guest Statistics update / Perkembangan Perangkaan Tetamu

As of today a total of 13 guests stayed with us; two of which stayed short-term - one for two months and the other for three months. Considering that we started our operation in Jan 2010, its quite good. There are times when the calls keep coming especially if there is any events happening in Shah Alam or if there is registration/graduation in any of the universities around Shah Alam. The rule of thumb is : ALWAYS book early. Not call the same night you want to check or the night before. Always plan your journeys.

Setakat ini seramai 13 tetamu telah menginap di homestay kami; dua tetamu menginap jangka pendek - seorang duduk selama dua bulan dan seorang lagi tiga bulan. Memandangkan kami baru beroperasi pada Januari 2010, kemajuan amat memberangsangkan. Ada kalanya panggilan datang bertubi-tubi untuk tarikh yang sama terutamanya sekiranya ada majlis/upacara sukan dsb di Shah Alam atau ada pendaftaran/konvokesyen di universiti sekitar Shah Alam. Petuanya: SELALU tempah awal. Bukan malam nak menginap baru telefon atau malam sebelumya. Praktiskan merancang awal sebelum memulakan perjalanan.

Coming School Holidays 4th June -19th June 2010

We are accepting bookings for the coming school holidays. Rates for school holidays are standard i.e. RM250. Please plan your trip early so that you would not be disappointed when you try to book last minute such as on the day that you want to stay or one day before you check in. ALL last minutes reservations are subject to availability of the unit. Its good to confirm booking as the unit would have been reserved for you only.

We just finished a two week peak season due to the events happening around Shah Alam i.e. UITM's registration and convocation.

GOOD DISCOUNTS (Update for May 2010 / Perkembangan bulan Mei 2010)

The unit is available for all days of the month in May 2010. We give good discounts!. Normal rates- weekday RM230/ day, weekends, holidays, school holidays RM250/day. But if you stay with us for a short-stay, you can  enjoy good discounts as follows:
                            (a)  RM171 per day for 1 week stay,
                            (b) RM116 per day  for one month
                            (c) RM83 per day!!! for 2 months -6 months
Also for the above short-stays, we provide complimentary weekly cleaning services.

1st July-30th Sept. 2010 (shortstay 3 months)

Cleaning Services

My cleaning lady, Ms Hartatik went to the apartment yesterday to change beddings and clean the apartment. We provide complimentary weekly cleaning services to our short-stay guests. Our objective is to provide a clean and conducive ambience for our guests.

Facilities & Welcome fruit basket

Today, my husband tested the streamyx WIFI that was installed this week. Set the network key for our WIFI services. Everything is going smoothly as planned.

Aside from WIFI, we also offer free weekly cleaning services. This is to ensure that the apartment is in maintenable condition.

Tommorow i will also get a welcoming fruit basket to welcome our guest to our homestay.

Am having a blast doing this enterprise.

Salam/ Salam sejahtera.

I would like to update pictures of my homestay aptment which is now totally 100% ready for rental. Herewith i attach recent pictures of living and dining. My ID concept is modern, simple yet comfy. Its truly a 'HOME AWAY FROM HOME'.

We are receiving our 2nd guest next week who is on a trainning course and he is staying with his family for the duration of 2 months.

First guest

My first guest was a big family from Ipoh who is here celebrating a family member's birthday celebration here. They checked-in on Friday 1st Jan and checked out today 2nd Jan 2010. They were satisfied with the apartment and its facilties -in the aptment and the common condo facilities. We provided extra sleeping bags.

So far so  good. Its a good deal for big families travelling in a group. Hotels are pretty expensive nowadays.
