March 2013
Already one quarter of March is passing us by. Time really flies!
We have been fortunate to have three short-stay bookings in a row. 2 one-month rental and tomorrow a 2 week rental. We offer discounted rates (from our daily rental of rm290/night) based on the duration of homestay rentals. Do make our homestay, your home away from home.
We were also involved in the visit to the orphanage Asrama Darul Falah PERKIM (ASDAF) at Bukit Persekutuan, Kuala Lumpur. This orphanage has children from the orang Asli community who are orphans, under privilged and mualaf.
The warden informed me that these children have only 1 pair of school uniforms. I am collecting funds to finance another pair of school clothes for these children. They need about rm1200 for 60 children. Please email me : nor.ilman.homestay@gmail.com if you are interested to contribute. They have also started to collect contributions for the month of Ramadan this year.

Sungguh pantas masa berlalu! Tanpa disedari bulan Mac akan meninggal kita.
Kita bersyukur telah memperolehi 3 tempahan penginapan jangka panjang homestay. 2 penginapan sebulan dan esok penginapan 2 minggu. Nor Ilman Homestay menawarkan harga diskaun (daripada sewa harian rm290/mlm) berdasarkan tempoh penginapan tersebut. Sila menginap di homestay kami.
Kita juga telah terlibat melawat rumah asrama Darul Falah PERKIM (ASDAF) di Bukit Persekutuan, Kuala Lumpur. Asrama anak yatim ini mempunyai anak-anak orang Asli yang yatim piatu, miskin dan mualaf.
Warden memaklumkan saya anak-anak ini hanya ada SATU (1) helai uniform sekolah setiapnya dan ini menyukarkan mereka untuk menjaga kebersihan. Saya ingin memulakan kutipan wang untuk membelikan anak-anak ini sepasang lagi baju sekolah. Anggaran RM20/sepasang x 60 anak-anak = RM1200. Sekiranya berminat menyumbang sila pm saya atau email saya: nor.ilman.homestay@gmail.com. Jazakallah Khair.
Mereka juga telah mula menerima sumbangan untuk bulan Ramadan.

BAD experience / Pengalaman Pahit
Kami dengan ini dengan rasminya tidak akan menerima tempahan daripada individu daripada timur tengah. Mereka, pelajar universiti swasta berhampiran telah check-out setelah menginap di homestay kami selama sebulan. Keadaan unit condo terlalu amat kotor, penuh sampah sarap, tandas yang teramat kotor dengan najis, karpet kami ada kesan terbakar, dsb. Amat menjijikkan dan menunjukkan peribadi yang buruk sebagai orang yang beragama Islam. Patutlah hotel di KL lazimnya menyediakan kadar berbeza dan lebih tinggi untuk pelancong daripada Timur Tengah. Sekarang kami tahu kenapa.

They, students of a nearby private university, checked out today after having stayed in our unit for one month. The condition of the unit was very dirty, full of garbage, violent stench from a dirty still with faeces, our carpet burnt,etc. Nauseating indeed and showed bad character which is so unislamic. No wonder hotels in KL have different and higher rates for tourists from the middle east.Now we can see why.
